  • After You Apply

After you submit your application, TMDSAS will process and transmit your application to the veterinary school.

TMDSAS does not wait on transcripts or letters of evaluation to process applications. It is your responsibility to ensure that TMDSAS has received all supplemental materials.

    While You Wait

While you wait to hear from the veterinary school, here are some things you may want to do to prepare.

Monitor the Status of Your Application

You are responsible for checking the status of your application throughout the entirety of the application process. To check your status, sign in to your application, click on the [Status] status link from the menu on the right-hand side of the application.

To see the status of your supporting documents, scroll down towards the bottom of the page until you reach the [Supporting Documents] heading. If a document has been received, the receive date will appear next to the document name.

    Complete Your Secondary Application

Completion of the secondary application is required by Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. It is available at:

    Update Your Application

After submitting your application, you may make updates as needed to certain sections.

You are able to make changes to the following sections yourself by logging back on to the application: Contact Info, Colleges Attended, College Coursework, Planned Enrollment, My Account and Test Scores.

To update the information in your Letters of Evaluation section, you must email TMDSAS at info@tmdsas.com - include your full name, TMDSAS ID and the exact change that needs to be made.

Be sure to update this information whenever necessary.

Missing Item on Application Status Page?

It can take 5-10 business days for items to appear on your Application Status page once they have been received by TMDSAS, especially near the deadline.

Continue to check your status online.

    Update Transcripts

Be sure to send a new transcript after each term

The veterinary school needs an updated transcript after every semester that you complete coursework.

From the time that you submit your application until the time you enroll in vet school, August 2017, you need to send an updated transcript to TMDSAS.
